Movies are shown on Main Street at the 3rd Street intersection. Main Street is closed between
2nd and 3rd Streets at 5 pm. You may set out your chairs, sleeping bags, blankets and picnics, beginning at 6:00 pm. Seating is first come, first served. All movies begin at 8:30 pm.

Visit our downtown restaurants and enjoy a pre-show dinner.

The Sound of Music

August 6 - The Sound of Music
This Rodgers and Hammerstein classic from 1965 never grows old and is a movie the whole family will enjoy.

A handsome Navy captain, needs yet another governess for his seven mischievous, motherless children, who have succeeded in frustrating each of the previous candidates. Maria, a young woman failing miserably at becoming a nun, is given the job. She wins over the petulant children with kindness and an adventurous spirit, and soon she and the captain fall in love. The Austrian Alps provide a stunning backdrop and memorable music will have you singing along.

Starring Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, and a very young Angela Cartwright. The real Maria von Trapp, depicted in the movie by Julie Andrews, appears as an extra. See if you can spot her

Little Giants


August 13 - Little Giants
A family sports comedy for everyone who's waited to be chosen, and wasn't. Misfits form their own peewee football team to challenge an elite team, coached by the elite team coach's brother. Sibling rivalry meets comeuppance.

Starring Rick Moranis, Ed O'Neill, Shawna Waldron and a cameo appearance by former NFL coach John Madden.


Toy Story


August 20 - Toy Story
The animators of Pixar make you believe toys have secret lives when you aren't looking. This Oscar® winning movie tells the story of how Woody, a toy cowboy, is threatened and jealous when Buzz Lightyear, a fancy toy spaceman, replaces him as top toy. Adventure ensues for all the toys.

Starring Tom Hanks as the voice of Woody, Tim Allen as the voice of Buzz, Don Rickles as the voice of Mr. Potato Head, and Annie Potts as the voice of Bo Peep.

August 27 - Up
78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America, but not as you would expect. He ties thousands of balloons to his home and lifts off to adventure. But he isn't alone on his journey – Russell, a young boy, has become a stowaway on the trip.

Starring Ed Asner as the voice of Carl and Jordan Nagai as the voice of Russell.
